When a public relations firm writes a news feature that produces an extraordinary volume of media coverage, the North American Precis Syndicate (NAPS) recognizes their achievement. Each year, Dorothy York, the president of NAPS, presents a few awards to top-performing clients. Last week, Turchette was one of them!

Turchette was honored with the Golden Thinker Award for Superior Achievement in Media Relations on behalf of client Fujitsu General America, Inc. According to Dorothy York, “We know from experience that stories we distribute for our clients generate 600 to 1,000 placements, with 1,000 rarely being reached. However, your release brought in several thousand placements with a full 44% of them being from the top 50 markets!”

Turchette’s article, Get Smart About ‘Smart Home’ Cooling This Summer, yielded 7,424 print and online placements — SEVEN times the national average for articles published via a third-party content distribution networkThis exceptional media coverage puts it in the top one-quarter of one percent of all releases distributed to the media through NAPS, including releases for most Fortune 500 companies, over 100 associations, all top 20 PR firms and over 1,600 accounts in all.

Feature mat releases complement Turchette’s strategic mix of broadcast, print and online PR initiatives — all focused on educating consumers about the many benefits of Fujitsu ductless mini split systems.

This is the second Golden Thinker award that Turchette has won on behalf of Fujitsu.  See previous award.
