Decoupage, Donuts & Drinks: A Creative Twist on Fall Fun at Turchette

This year, instead of a pumpkin carving contest or a paint & sip afternoon, Turchette employees got into the autumn spirit with a new company event called Decoupage, Donuts & Drinks! It was a refreshing change that sparked creativity and camaraderie among our team. Armed with white plastic pumpkins, Halloween and Thanksgiving napkins, and plenty of Mod Podge, employees transformed simple pumpkins into beautiful fall decorations. The process was surprisingly therapeutic, with lots of laughter and friendly collaboration throughout. And, even though everyone started with similar craft supplies, each pumpkin reflected the individuality of its creator.

The fun didn’t stop there. Some team members enjoyed the activity so much that they came back the next day and decoupaged another pumpkin during lunch. The enthusiasm was contagious, and many expressed a desire for this to become an annual tradition. To fuel our creativity, we indulged in a variety of refreshments and beverages including Apple Cider Sangria. The combination of tasty treats and artistic expression made for a really fun event.
